BELINDA "BUCKIE" BUSH

TDMB:  Whaz's up Belinda “Buckie” Bush?
BELINDA: Whaz’s up TD4(Mr.Neal)

TDMB:  How is it going in the Golden T?
BELINDA: The famous word of M. J. Bleige “Just Fine, Fine, Fine” “can’t complain. Thank God we finally got back to the norm, considering what “Rita” did to us when she came through and made history for the Golden Triangle.

TDMB:  Where are U from?
BELINDA: I’m from Anniston, Alabama, known for it’s Army Base (Fort McClellan). A small town 45 minutes outside of Birmingham, Alabama.

TDMB:  Roll Tide Roll
BELINDA: Yeah, Alabama (CRIMSON TIDE) the Great “Paul Bear Bryant”. Unfornantely I didn’t attend the University of Alabama. I attended Jacksonville State University home of the fighting (GAMECOCKS).

TDMB:  What High School
BELINDA: Anniston High “Bulldogs”, name after the small town.

TDMB:  What brought U to the great State of Texas?
BELINDA: The Military (U.S. Navy). I was stationed in Beeville, TX once. We use to visit Houston quite a bit. Once I gave Uncle Sam his years I owed him. I made a decision either return back to Houston, TX or Norfolk,VA and stay. Well Texas won the toss-up and here I am luving TEXAS.

TDMB:  How many children do U have?
BELINDA: I have two daughters (Shade’ and Shabrieauna- (Bree), who neither are nothing like me.

TDMB:  Are they athletic?
BELINDA: Yes and No, Shade’ played softball, but gave it up for Nursing School. Bree plays basketball and track which is an athletic ability that runs in her Father family.

TDMB:  Do u have any hobbies outside of Softball?
BELINDA: Yes, I enjoy running, reading and dancing(which I call aerobic).

TDMB:  How long have U been playing Softball?
BELINDA:  You would ask that question. Too many years. I started playing softball back when I was in the 8
th grade.

TDMB:  How did U get started playing?
BELINDA: Believe it or not I started out playing football with the neighborhood boys. Until one day my father watched them catch me and tackled me. He then made me pick a sport that was not so physical. Which “HE” then chose softball and taught me. After that I started playing for my High School, the City of Anniston, Walk-on in College and on the All Navy Traveling Softball Team.

TDMB:  U where a Top Dog before u were the Truth.
BELINDA: Yes I was. We had a lot of fun. That’s how I got to know a lot of people in the Golden Triangle and Port Arthur.

TDMB:  We had a pretty good Co-Ed team back then, can U name the players on the team?
BELINDA: I must say Frank you are bringing back some good memories. I can name a few; Esther Bethea, J.D., Brian Hall, Cliford, Carolyn Mitchell, Mike Jackee

TDMB:  One thing I can say about U is that U are a loyal Person.  Players have come and go but U have been loyal to Undisputed Truth.
BELINDA: Yes I try to stay loyal to whatever team I play with until “THEY” break-up. I stay loyal to Lady UT, because it’s original team foundation begin in Beaumont,TX and BMT is where I will always be (maybe)…LoL I have played with other teams. I started out with my first team in Texas with Lady Trojan, Fresh Start, Deletion, Lady UT/N-Yo-FACE, WHAR/Nothing Nice (New Orleans), Lady Elite and Lady UT… My motto have always been “The only way you are going to build a strong solid Team” is to stay together, play together, win together, lose together, roll together and on “Any Given Sunday” you will win a Championship. It may take that team 5,6 or 10 years to win a championship from what I have observed on the Circuit. Just ask the teams who have won Championships. How many years have the majority of the Core of their team have been together? I’m willing to bet they are going to say 5-10 years. I just try to be loyal in every aspect of my life.

TDMB:  Beside God and your family, do U love anything more than softball?
BELINDA: Yes, I love “Resocializing” Juvenile (Boys) Youths. These young men are “OUR FUTURE”. When I can turn 1 youth life around out of 5. It make me feel like a have accomplished something real good. Helping them to see that there is more to life then just gang banging, selling drugs, robbing innocent people and dropping out of school is a daily challenge not just for me, but for them also. But, when these young men see that there is someone who cares for them and is willing to show them a different way of life. They are willing and want to change. It make me feel good when I see a big difference with the outcome of their lives. I always keep in my mind that these youths are “OUR FUTURE”. And when it come to our future, I enjoy going above and beyond.

TDMB:  How is Lady Undisputed Truth doing this year?
BELINDA: Well we did have a bad start at the beginning of the season. Now we are a team that is one to be “RECOGNIZED”. The team is beginning to come together real good. And all in all I must say we are looking great….YOU KNOW!!!

TDMB:  Is this the best Lady UT team U have played on?  It seems like U all are having fun.
BELINDA: Right now, I have to answer that question with a No. Reason being is because the season is not over, we just begun. We are playing great ball and yes we are having fun. Until then, I would say the best Lady UT team I have played on was when we were (Lady UT/N-Yo-Face)…But I do have the feeling that this team is going to be the best Lady UT I have played on once the season end. I see this team going where N-Yo-Face would have went if we would have stayed together. My opinion

TDMB:  What are your favorite Tournaments to play in?
BELINDA: I have to say the SBSA Black World, USSSA Black World, Gamblers and USSSA Rocket City Classic, Huntsville, AL.

TDMB:  Do U enjoy playing in the Black Circuit Tournaments?
BELINDA: Do I enjoy playing in the Black Circuit Tournaments? Why yes, to the fullest. I have met so many wonderful people. It’s one big family. You always learn something about somebody every where you go. Regardless of where you may go and play in the Black Circuit Tournaments whether it’s, Atlanta, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, St.Louis, you will always meet someone that is part of the family circle. It’s one BIG FAMILY!!!! SO CAN’T WE ALL JUST GET ALONE.

TDMB: Thanks for your time.  Do U have any shout outs?
BELINDA: You are welcome Mr.Neal. And thank you for your time…..Yes sir, I do. I first want to Thank “God for being so Good All the Time” to my Mother and Father…Shout out to the “Ladies of UT”, Coach Vernon, J.B., Ernest and Rock, Lil-Sherry, MJACKSON14, KPossible, Landi, PF#2, THATGUY35, SWINGMAN24, MikeDog, SugarBear, D.Rivers, Kells, BowWow, MikeJones, Emmy, My Girl Princess, Demih_01, Broker34, Broker10 ,DUTT, BigBaby, LTD19, LDT24, BigMike, Thousand, ShakenBaker, JRay, BigDawg25, LadyJay, Ms.Black, Chas, JO15, TrueLeft,FAC and DrkFerno(cousin?)…MAY GOD BLESS ALL---“LIFE IS GOD
