TDMB:  Whaz up Suppastarr?

SHON:  Hey "King" Frank!!! (LOL)

TDMB:  How did that name come about?

SHON:  A good friend of mine, who brought me to the circuit gave it to me...It sounds good, so I decided to keep it...you must admit, it does fit me!!! LMAO!!

TDMB:  Where are U originally from?

SHON:  M, I, Crooked Letta, Crooked Letta, I, Crooked Letta, Crooked Letta, I , Humped back, Humped back I!! Starkville, MS..that is!!

TDMB:  How did U get to Houston?

SHON:  God, brains and my athletic abilities!! I earned a full scholarship to Houston Baptist University. I graduated and decided to make Houston my home.

TDMB:  So how did your College career go?

SHON:  Oh..it was GREAT! I was named Conference Best Defensive player of the year  two years in a row. My Senior year I was named conference MVP!

TDMB:  U are a teacher right?

SHON:  That's right. I never thought in a million years that I would become a teacher

TDMB:  Do U like it?

SHON:  I do like it, even though; children today are nothing like those when I was in high school. Alegebra is often one the most difficult subjects to learn, but it's fun to teach.

TDMB:  U Coach Boys Basketball at your School?

SHON:  Yes, I do...it is a blast. It took the school district by surprise because when you see the name Shon, you automatically think that it's a man's name especially if it's associated with Boys basketball. Once I stepped onto the floor and annouced as a coach everyone was like." I thought you where a student"!!! I was even interviewed by the news as the first women coach in HISD to coach boys basketball! If you love the game, it doesn't matter what gender you coach!

TDMB:  Did U have a hard time getting the boys and the the other teams to respect U? 

SHON:  Yes, at first, but once I played and beat a few of the guys one on one..I quickly earned their respect!

TDMB:  When did U get started in Softball?

SHON:  I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old

TDMB:  What teams have U played for?

SHON:  When I first came to the circuit, I played for The infamous Dolls (like most of us women), then I had the honor of playing with Lady Brokers, Lady Fury, Lady Warriors and lastly LADY TOP DOGS!!!

TDMB:  Tell me your best experience playing softball.

SHON:  My best experience playing softball was about 2 years ago in a tournament at Herman Brown when I hit 5 homeruns out the park. I think that was the peak of my game!!

TDMB:  Now Your worst??

SHON:  My worst was last year in MS, when I had a 3-0 count and I swung at the next pitch and popped it up to the pitcher and we lost the game!

TDMB:  What is your favorite Tournament?

SHON:  Any tourney in the Sip because I get to see my family!

TDMB:  Do U have any goals for U and Lady Top Dog? 

SHON:  My goal is to place 1st in more tournaments than placing 2nd.  We always seem to place 2nd!!! I am no longer satisfied with 2nd place!

TDMB:  Now lets get to the good stuff, What is your favorite Color?

SHON:  My favorite color is Teal blue and Carolina Blue

TDMB:  Favorite song?

SHON:  I have way to many to choose from!!!

TDMB:  I know that U like dogs, How many and what kind do U have?

SHON:  I have 3 Pit Bulls

TDMB:  U have a very nice Myspace page did U do it yourself?

SHON:  Well, thank you...Yes, I did create it myself!

TDMB:  U are a very Creative Person...

SHON:  I tend to be...my mind is always on the move..I have so many different ideas in my head, that sometimes is a GOOD and Bad thing because I get bored easily..

TDMB:  U made the list for Swingman24 Sports sexist female softball player, what did U think about that?

SHON:  Thank you to those that voted for me....what I am really aiming for is to make the list for one of the best softball players.

TDMB:  What is one thing that your softball family does not know about you?

SHON:  I graduated from Houston Baptist in 3 years
