TDMB: Whaz up That Guy?
T-GUY: Good evening Mr.Neal
TDMB: How did U get the nick name from?
T-GUY: Well, back when I was in high school, a few of my friends and I had
a rap group called "The Royal Empire" and I would always hear people say
"man, that guy can rap" so soon after I started using the name That Guy.
And thanks to softball it has grown worldwide.
TDMB: Where are U from?
T-GUY: I am originally from Los Angeles, Ca (born and raised in Compton)
TDMB: What High School did attend?
T-GUY: I attended Centennial High School in Cali.
TDMB: Did U play sports in High School?
T-GUY: yes, it might be hard to believe, but I ran track in the
100m, 200m, 3rd leg on the relay team, and Baseball of course
TDMB: Do U have any Kids?
T-GUY: Yes, I have two children. Marisa McCoy (13) and Marque McCoy Jr.(5)
TDMB: What are your hobbies outside of softball?
T-GUY: I like to bowl, go to movies, shop (gotta coordinate) lol and
I love watching TV
TDMB: What do U enjoy more Softball or D Jaying?
T-GUY: I enjoy them both. When I'm D Jaying I can set the tone so the
people will have fun. When I'm playing ball I can set the tone so the team
will have fun.
TDMB: Name some of the places U have D J
T-GUY: I have rocked the house in Cali, Mississippi, Atlanta, Dallas, and
here in H-Town. oh yeah, some of your parties...lol
TDMB: Give me a rhyme
T-GUY: Let's see.. off the dome. I am That Guy the microphone masta. I can
rap to any beat that's slower or fasta. When I'm on the stage
i can form a trance. To make the party people get up and dance. Cuz i'm
straight from L.A. and my rhymes are vicious. And if I was a chicken wing
you know I'd be delicious...lol



TDMB: How long have U been playing Softball?
T-GUY: I have been playing since 1996
TDMB: What teams have U played for?
T-GUY: I have played for The Gladiators, The Gamblers, The Cardinals, The
Brothers, Joy&Pain, Done Right, and now The Houston Dogs
.
TDMB: What are The Dogs going to do this year?
T-GUY: The Dogs are in a rebuilding process with a few new players. But as
soon as we can gel as a whole. Then The Dogs will start barking.
TDMB: How is it playing for Blue?
T-GUY: Blue is one of the better coaches that I have played for. He is
devoted to his team, and loyal to his players. He does what he says he's
gonna do for us. And he is respected throughout the softball world.
TDMB: What are your favorite tournaments to play in?
T-GUY: hmmm. .Nelly's Tourney, Top Dog Classic, Gamblers, and all the
Worlds are my Fav 5. But every tourney is fun for me.
TDMB: Do U like playing on the Black Circuit?
T-GUY: Yes sir. Every weekend I get to see all my friends, play ball, and
hurt my side laughing. lol
TDMB: What do U not like about playing on the Black Circuit?
T-GUY: I wish that there were more teams in the SBSA so we could
have big tournaments each week.
TDMB: What would U change on the Black Circuit?
T-GUY: I wouldn't let teams play in the brackets they want. If you
are a B team, then play in the B bracket.
TDMB: Tell us something about U that most people on the Softball
Circuit do not know?
T-GUY: When I lived in Miss. I was on a dance show called "Black Gold"
from 1990 to 1994.(Ladytop24 can confirm..lol) I went on tour with DJ Quik
in 92 as a backup DJ and one the opening acts. I have also been in three
movies. And I also.. well that's enough. lol
TDMB: Do U have any shout outs?
T-GUY: First to my Lord and Savior.., The Dogs Softball Club,
Swingman24Sports, Swingstars, Kpossible, Ladytop24, Mjackson14, LTD19,
BowWeezy, Glock40g, Kells,Broker10, ThatGuy's Gals. The LHC, Card23,
Sugabear, Princess, Emmy, the whole softball family and the entire
